It is thought that approximately 45% of us have had a relationship with someone at work and a further 35% would be willing to give it a try in the future. Of those couples who became romantically involved at work, over 25% of them either went on to marry or established a long term relationship. Even those of us who haven't dated (or wouldn't want to date) a colleague admit to indulging in some harmless flirting at the office from time to time.
