Evening Classes

Although enrolling in an evening class might sound somewhat of a cliché, they can actually be a great way to meet new people and perhaps even potential dates. If you're looking to join a class not just to expand your mind, but also your social life, it's important to pick the right subject matter; you'll have far more interaction with other people in a conversational French class than in a meditation group. However, it's equally important that you don't choose a subject purely for its pick-up potential; make sure you're actually interested in what you sign up for!
As with any new social activity, evening classes should be used as a way to meet people generally - not just the ones you might want to date. Making new friends will help to widen your horizons even further.
What to Do
If you do meet someone you're interested in, you'll be in the perfect environment to strike up a conversation; being on the same course together will always give you something to chat about. There's also often the chance to extend the evening with a drink after class, which can provide a relaxed atmosphere to talk about the evening's lesson - or anything else that comes to mind!
