Speed Dating

Winging its way across the Atlantic, and taking Britain by storm, speed dating offers the perfect answer to the complex world of dating, with many of the common problems of other dating methods being avoided. The innovative approach allows you to meet, date and evaluate as many people in one hour as you would be likely to date in one year!
Started by the Jewish community for fast efficient dating, speed dating was extended and redesigned for executives. It was initially marketed for those who didn't have the time to meet and entertain dates, often involving lunch time sessions. The concept is now quickly spreading throughout the world, including people from a huge variety of backgrounds and personalities.
Speed dates are organised events, usually held in bars or restaurants; you get three minutes to chat to each person on the night and if you hit it off with anyone, you can arrange to chat further afterwards.
In this section, you'll find a guide to this new phenomenon: how it works, what you should expect during a typical speed dating evening, some handy tips and even some conversational pointers to help get you started!
